Julie
Lively is an occupational therapist, a middle eastern dance teacher,
and a pilates instructor. As a dance instructor Julie has
specialized in teaching technique to women of various abilities
from a perspective of strengthening, honoring, and celebrating
the body. Her study of OT, dance, and pilates gives her an
unique perspective and understanding of the body in stillness,
motion, and function. She received her pilates mat certification
from Power Pilates and her Masters of Science in Occupational
Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. Julie teaches a
gentle pilates mat class that is slow and focused to allow
the student to gain precision, control, and mastery of the
basics and breath. It provides a great basis for the beginner
and helps to deepen the more advanced practitioner's understanding
of the dynamic core and alignment. make an appointment now! |
