Heather McGinnis is a certified STOTT Pilates instructor, as well as, a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified Personal Trainer.  She is Pre/Post Natal certified and CPR certified.  Heather has both her Bachalor of Arts degree and Master of Fine Arts degree (from NYU TISCH)  in Dance, with 10 years of Professional dance and choreographic experience in Philadelphia and New York City.  While in NY, Heather studied Pilates under Kathy Grant, one of the few remaining disciples of Joseph Pilates and an inspiration for the authenticity of the technique.  Heather has worked with individuals ranging from athletes to post-rehab, believing Pilates to be a wonderful complement to any cardiovascular exercise, sport, rehab or daily life.  With an emphasis on breath, core conditioning and body awareness through the Pilates method, Heather strives to enhance her clients daily quality of life by bringing the body's skeletal and muscular imbalances back into its' most efficent alignment, therefore preventing future injuries and achieving the strong lengthened line so often desired. make an appointment now!
